Ulsrudvann Rundt is a low-key six-race running series around Ulsrudvann in Oslo's Ostmarka area, with each race starting at 18:00. The course is 2,870 meters, and the start and finish are on the gravel road between Haralokka and Ostmarksetra. Registration and bib pickup occur at the start before the race; runners should arrive early due to potential queues near closing time.
From the start, runners follow the path toward the parking area below Ostmarksetra, then run around Ulsrudvann on trails that are partly demanding and worn in places. Red-and-white ribbons mark important trail junctions, but first-timers are advised to preview the course beforehand to save time finding the correct turns. If more than about 60-70 people participate, the organizers may split the field into separate men/boys and women/girls starts five minutes apart. The series maintains a simple community atmosphere, with a voluntary season fee, nearby parking at Ostmarksetra, and results and rankings typically posted online the same evening.
