Vinterkarusellen Ålesund 1. løp

The Ålesund Vinterkarusell is a five-race winter running series held at BestDrive in Fremmerholen. Races start at 13:00 on the second Sunday of each month, running from November through March. Both the 5 km and 10 km races use measured courses. Additionally, the 5 km event includes an untimed recreational class for those preferring to run without a recorded time. The course proceeds into Brusdalen via Gamle Brusdals veg. The turn-around point is at 2.5 km for the 5 km race and 5 km for the 10 km race, with the route returning to the original start and finish area. Sunday traffic is typically minimal. Participants should be mindful of the Hageland turnoff near Viddals gartneri and wear reflective or brightly colored clothing due to winter conditions. Post-race refreshments include juice, cola, cake, and coffee. Prize drawings occur after each race, and a series prize is awarded to participants who complete a minimum of three races.
