IRONMĀORI Quarter & Half – Napier
Saturday, November 7, 2026 · Napier, New Zealand
Distances
10.5km
Half
About this race
IRONMĀORI Quarter & Half begins with an ocean swim off the Napier beachfront, followed by a flat bike course and a run or walk along Marine Parade. The event provides two triathlon distances: the Half includes a 2 km swim, 90 km ride, and 21.1 km run/walk, and the Quarter consists of a 1 km swim, 50 km ride, and 10.5 km run/walk. Both distances commence at 7:00 AM and can be completed solo, as a three-person team, or as an individual swim, bike, or run discipline.
The adaptable format is a key attraction: participants can complete the full triathlon, share the day with teammates, or select a single discipline. This approachability suits first-time participants while offering a defined challenge for those returning. The event is founded on kaupapa, whanaungatanga, community wellbeing, and personal achievement, meaning the atmosphere is as significant as the race time. It welcomes individuals seeking to test their limits and support others, not solely competitors focused on finishing times.
