Sea 2 Sky Challenge

The Sea 2 Sky Challenge is a multisport race in Christchurch, New Zealand, starting with a swim from ocean level and finishing on the city’s high roads. The primary format includes an ocean swim, followed by a bike leg ascending to Christchurch’s highest road sections, and concluding with a coastal-trail run. Participants can compete individually or in teams. A run-bike-run option is available for those preferring to skip the swim. Shorter “Tri A Try / Du” races are offered for novice athletes, alongside the main event. Younger participants have a dedicated junior race and a swim-run aquathon for ages 5 to 9.
