About this race
The 13th PKO Bieg Niepodległości is a 10-kilometer run through Rzeszów, starting and finishing on the Rynek, the city's main market square. It begins at 11:11 a.m., a deliberate nod to Poland’s Independence Day, with entry limited to runners on the paid start list.
Over 3,000 people participated, many in white and red, forming a moving Polish flag across the course. Bernard Too of Kenya won the men's race in 30:39, and Karolina Giza was the first woman in 35:39. The podium featured runners from Kenya, Wieliczka, Rzeszów, and CWKS Resovia Rzeszów.
