About this race
Bieg Chomiczówki and Bieg o Puchar Bielan are paired road races held in Warsaw’s Bielany district. Both races begin on Conrad Street near the shopping pavilion and conclude on Neruda Street. The Bielany Cup race covers 5 km, while Bieg Chomiczówki is 15 km. This setup accommodates runners seeking a quick local race and those preferring a longer winter run. The Bielany district is the organizer, with Towarzystwo Krzewienia Kultury Fizycznej "Chomiczówka" as a co-organizer.
The 5 km Bielany Cup race starts first. Together, the two events attract approximately 2,500 runners during peak participation. The prize money totals 54,000 PLN, distributed across the event, which is substantial for a district-level race. As the courses utilize regular Bielany streets, temporary road closures and bus route diversions are implemented during the races.
