Bieg Krzemionka Cross

Bieg Krzemionka Cross is a trail race held in Lgota. The start and finish are located at the Association for the Development of the Village of Lgota on Podgórska Street. Participants can choose between short and longer off-road routes, typically around 5-8 km, 12 km, and 23 km. The longest course presents a significant hill challenge, featuring approximately 800 m of elevation gain. The race commences at 10:00 AM. The routes traverse the slopes of Krzemionka, Lubania, and Trawna Góra, incorporating sections of asphalt, gravel, grass, and forest roads. In adverse weather conditions, the course may become muddy. As it is not a certified road course, the event emphasizes trail running over achieving official road race times. The competition includes age categories for men and women from M16/K16 up to M60/K60. Additional categories cater to runners with dogs and, on the shorter route, Nordic walkers. All finishers are awarded medals, while age-group victors receive statuettes and overall winners are presented with trophies.
