Bieg Lechitów is a point-to-point half marathon in Wielkopolska, covering 21.097 km from Ostrów Lednicki, near Dziekanowice, to Plac Św. Wojciecha in Gniezno. This asphalt road race follows a PZLA-certified course and has a 3 hour 30 minute time limit, with bib-integrated chip timing. The field is limited to 2,000 runners, who must be at least 18 years old.
The route connects an early historic Polish site with Gniezno. Runners participate to pursue the Crown of Polish Half Marathons and the Wielkopolska Half Marathon Grand Prix. Local and club runners are present, and the event includes the Polish Doctors' Half Marathon Championship. Most runners' results are based on net time, but the first 50 finishers are ranked by their order of finish. Each entry provides a bib, chip, safety pins, medal, and a recovery meal; a commemorative shirt is available for purchase.
