Bieg Powitania Lata

Bieg Powitania Lata is a running series held in early summer in Poland, with events in locations like Puszczykowo, Strzelce Wielkie, and Częstochowa. The Puszczykowo event features a 10 km main race starting from the Kościelna area. Children's races on shorter courses precede the main field, which begins late in the morning. Participants can run the main race individually or in pairs, adding a social dimension compared to typical solo road races. The Strzelce Wielkie event uses the local Sports Stadium for its start, finish, and race administration. Its primary route is approximately 5 km, almost entirely on asphalt with a minor gravel section. This event also offers Nordic Walking for those seeking a less strenuous activity. Entry is limited to 150 participants, and electronic timing is provided, with start packs including a commemorative medal. The series is coordinated by local race organizers and collaborators, such as Biegi.Wlkp in Puszczykowo and Atelier Sportu with Gmina Strzelce Wielkie for the Strzelce Wielkie race.
