About this race
Żyrardów begins Poland’s triathlon season with the Garmin Triathlon Tour, which the organizer states is the country’s largest triathlon series. The event takes place in Żyrardów, approximately 45 km from Warsaw. It is a swim-bike-run race open to professionals and amateurs alike.
Żyrardów provides an unusual setting for a sports event: the city features a largely preserved 19th-century factory settlement, including old mill buildings, a spinning mill, and workers’ houses connected to its textile heritage. The Linen Museum further details this local history. The town is now a repeat host for the series, with the triathlon returning for its fourth edition.
