Jubileuszowy Bieg Łazarski 2026

Jubileuszowy Bieg Łazarski is a neighborhood race in Poznań's Park J. Kasprowicza, held as part of Dni Łazarza, the local district festival. It marks the district's anniversary of joining Poznań, the return of Bieg Łazarski after an eight-year break, and the commemoration of Poznań June 1956. It is designed for mixed ages, not just adult runners, with short children's races of 200 and 400 meters, a 1.5 km race for older teenagers and adults, and a 5 km race for adults. Entry is free, but runners must register, accept the rules, and fit within the participant limits for their race; electronic timing is used. The course stays in Park Kasprowicza and can include a loop around the Arena, the round sports hall that anchors this part of Łazarz. Participants can choose the 1.5 km or 5 km run, and Nordic Walking with poles is also offered, so the field can include families, local runners, walkers, and residents joining the district festivities. A scout camp operates near the race village, giving the event more of a community-day feel than a standalone road race. The Open Łazarski Race began earlier as a local open race, and this jubilee edition brings that idea back into the district calendar.
