About this race
The Kaszubski Triathlon begins on Jezioro Kamieniczno in Ciemno, a village within the Tuchomie municipality of Pomeranian Voivodeship. This short multisport race features a distinct opening leg: rather than a typical open-water swim, participants navigate 800 meters by kayak. This is followed by a 14-kilometer bike ride and a 5-kilometer run. The event takes place in summer and has reached its thirteenth running.
The kayak leg consists of one circuit on the lake, with kayaks supplied by the organizer. There is a 10-minute time limit for this initial segment. The cycling course is a single loop on closed forest and asphalt roads passing through Ciemno, Glisno Wielkie, and Borzyszkowy; helmets are mandatory. Individual competitors start first, with relay teams beginning afterward. This format accommodates both solo racers and teams dividing the three disciplines.
