Kocierz Extreme Triathlon 2026

The Kocierz Extreme Triathlon begins at Przełęcz Kocierska, situated 750 meters above sea level within Poland’s Beskid Mały mountains. This autumn mountain triathlon centers on Kocierz Resort, located near Andrychów, and offers two race distances: L and M. The L distance covers 1.8 km swimming, 102 km cycling, and a 21 km run. The M distance, while shorter, remains challenging with a 1 km swim, 58 km bike ride, and a 15 km run. The swim takes place in Jezioro Mucharskie. Afterward, the course returns towards Kocierz Resort, crossing the Beskid mountains via steep climbs, rapid descents, and mountain trails. It is designed for triathletes seeking hills late in the season, rather than those aiming for a flat personal best. First held in 2020, when organizers encountered surprise that a triathlon could be organized in the area, the event now attracts participants from across Poland and other parts of Europe.
