Maraton Juranda 2026

Maraton Juranda takes place in Lipowiec, near Szczytno, within Poland’s Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. The primary marathon is the full 42.195 km distance. The event also features the Rycerski Half Marathon, the 10k Dyszka Jurandówny, and races for children. Established in 1981, it ranks among Poland’s oldest marathons and is known as a faster course for marathon participants. The certified course is very flat and entirely paved, making it suitable for runners aiming for a quick time over a technical route. Lipowiec is located in Masuria, a region known as the Land of a Thousand Lakes, surrounded by forests along the race path. Klub Biegacza Jurund is the organizer, supported by local sports and community partners. Prize money is awarded to the top six men and women, and the wheelchair category offers trophies for the top three.
