About this race
Runners in Limanowa Forrest ascend Miejska Góra, a 716 m hill overlooking Limanowa, crowned by the Millennium Cross, Poland's tallest steel cross. This international mountain run takes place in July over approximately 8 km of varied terrain in the Beskid Wyspowy, avoiding a flat road course.
The start and finish are located near the race office on Bulwary Street, behind the school, keeping the event near town despite the route's quick transition to hill terrain. The course incorporates tourist trails, forest roads, country roads, stony sections, asphalt, and pavement. Participants include club runners, local runners, uniformed services, and families, with championships for uniformed services. KS Limanowa Forrest is the main organizer.
