About this race
The Międzynarodowy Wyścig Kolarski Dookoła Mazowsza begins in Teresin and sends riders across the Mazovia region of central Poland. Cycling activists in Mazovia have organized the race since 1951. In Poland's road-racing rankings, it is positioned just behind the Tour de Pologne.
The route utilizes the shape of Mazovia to create a fast race, with close time gaps, breakaway attacks, and stages frequently decided by mere seconds. Since 2000, it has held UCI 2.2 status, allowing domestic teams to compete alongside international squads. The event also operates under the honorary patronage of Adam Struzik, Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship.
