About this race
PKO Wieczorny Półmaraton Łódź is a 21.1 km evening half marathon in Łódź, starting at 19:00. The race begins and ends at EC1 Łódź – Miasto Kultury, a former power-station complex adjacent to Łódź Fabryczna Station. Runners will assemble in an industrial setting, distinct from typical park or stadium races. The route is certified by the Polish Athletics Association, and its three-hour time limit designates it as a serious road race, yet accessible for steady recreational runners.
The course crosses city streets, featuring Piotrkowska, Łódź’s main thoroughfare. Its design favors fast running and personal bests. Thousands of participants compete in various categories, including club runners, debut half marathoners, and those aiming for a specific time, all starting together in the evening. The event includes a family picnic, a group warm-up before the race, and a finisher medal. PKO Bank Polski account holders receive a reduced entry fee.
