About this race
Runmageddon Warsaw presents a 12 km-plus obstacle course featuring over 50 challenges requiring participants to climb, crawl, wade, or drag themselves. Located at the Bardowski Reservoir in Targówek, this Warsaw event is not a road race in disguise. The course incorporates mud, sand, water crossings, forest sections, and uneven terrain around the reservoir. The focus is less on maintaining a consistent pace and more on navigating continuous obstacles, from vertical walls and barbed wire to muddy sections that tax the legs and arms as much as the lungs.
The event provides multiple formats, including the shorter Rekrut option and more demanding versions for those seeking a greater challenge, alongside races for children and juniors. Adults, younger participants, newcomers, and experienced obstacle racers can all participate within the same weekend. The full Runmageddon distance also contributes to the Veteran title and the RMG Crown. The event's motto, roughly translating to “Whether it blows, rains, or snows,” reflects its approach: adverse weather is considered an integral part of the race, not a reason to avoid getting dirty.
