About this race
Runmageddon Wrocław is a mud-and-obstacle race in Wrocław, in Lower Silesia, usually built around a May weekend. It is not a straight road race: the route starts with firm ground and asphalt, then sends runners into mud, walls, carries, climbs, and team-based obstacles. The lineup lets people choose how deep they want to go, from short Kids and Junior routes to Intro at 3+ km with 15+ obstacles, Rekrut at 6+ km with 30+ obstacles, a night version of Rekrut after dark, and the full 12+ km course with 50+ obstacles.
The Wrocław edition draws a broad field because the distances cover first-timers, younger runners, team groups, and people chasing the longer classic course. The obstacles test jumping, grip, arm strength, and cooperation, so the race is as much about getting over things together as running between them. The night race adds a different feel to the same 6 km challenge, with mud and obstacles handled after dark. Extreme Events organizes the series, and past Wrocław editions have brought in thousands of registered runners.
