Starobielski Piknik Historyczny

Starobielski Piknik Historyczny is an outdoor historical picnic in Stare Bielsko, the oldest district of Bielsko-Biała, held near the Church of St. Stanislaus BM around Pentecost. Entry is free and includes a district run. The event focuses on family history rather than a typical race meeting, with activities for children, adults, youth, and seniors. The grounds near the old church transform into a medieval-style village featuring warriors’ tents, handicraft stalls, food stands, concerts, and children’s activities. Visitors can tour the historic church and learn about Stare Bielsko’s past, including sites like Grodzisko, the Evangelical-Augsburg Church of John the Baptist, and Three Linden Hill. Miejski Dom Kultury Stare Bielsko organizes the event, now in its second decade.
