About this race
The Szutroza Szlak Wielkopolskich Łowisk is a cycling race series held in rural Wielkopolska, centered on the region’s fishing ponds and quiet country roads. This particular stage provides three distance options: approximately 91 km, 151 km, or 250 km, allowing participants to select a route ranging from a substantial day ride to a demanding endurance challenge. The race details also indicate starting groups scheduled for April.
The course crosses villages, fields, forests, and ponds that are part of the Wielkopolskie fishing grounds trail. The short route includes a single checkpoint at Szkoła Taczanów, located 48 km into the ride. The medium route has checkpoints at Górecznik (78 km) and Szkoła Taczanów (125 km). The long route features three checkpoints, with Górecznik at 78 km being one of them. The event also highlights local cuisine and the area’s natural heritage, making it more than just a timed cycling excursion.
