About this race
Triathlon Bielański begins with a 400-meter swim in the CRS Bielany pool on Lindego Street in Warsaw's Bielany district. The race then proceeds to Młociński Forest for the cycling and running segments. This is a short-format local triathlon, generally intended for individuals new to the sport rather than competitors seeking a long-distance challenge. The series has been conducted eight times, with its fundamental structure remaining consistent over the years.
The swim leg determines the starting order for the subsequent bike and run portion. Published course configurations feature a forest cycling loop of approximately 7 km paired with a 2 km run, and an alternative format comprising 12 km of cycling and 4 km on foot. Time restrictions are in place, including 15 minutes for the swim and 70 minutes for the combined cycling and running segments; participants exceeding these limits are not classified. Younger participants compete in a separate aquathlon alongside the triathlon, consisting of a 200-meter swim and a 1,000-meter cross-country run.
