About this race
The Strzelecki Street Run, named after Euzebiusz Fert, is a 15 km road race held in Strzelce Opolskie, a town in southern Poland. It takes place during the colder months and is organized by the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center in Strzelce Opolskie. This event marks its 35th running, with a separate VIP Run now in its 16th edition.
The start and finish are located on Mickiewicza Street. The route incorporates town streets and roads through adjacent villages. Participants depart Strzelce Opolskie via streets such as Kazimierza Wielkiego, Klonowa, Bursztynowa, and Lawendowa, proceeding onto an agricultural road towards Rożniątów. The course crosses Rożniątów and Dolna, with a turnaround point near the PKS bus stop in Dolna. The return journey follows Dolińska and Mickiewicza streets back to Strzelce Opolskie. Approximately 90 percent of the course is asphalt, with the remainder consisting of crushed stone and paving stones. The course is not officially certified.
