About this race
The Zduńska Wola Running Festival takes place in late May in Zduńska Wola, centered at the Municipal Stadium on Dolna Street. The event offers participants several options: officially timed 5 km, 10 km, and half-marathon races, alongside a family run, a corporate relay, and a family obstacle run named Dzika Rodzinka. The primary paid races have a combined limit of 300 participants, with separate limits for the children’s run and Dzika Rodzinka.
The road races begin and end at the stadium, utilizing city streets. The shorter family events are held closer to the stadium grounds. The family run consists of one lap around the stadium, and the corporate relay involves five laps per team of five people. The 5 km and 10 km races are open to individuals aged 13 and older, the half marathon to those 16 and older, and younger participants require guardian consent obtained at the race office. This festival coincides with Zduńska Wola's 200th-anniversary, serving as both a local sports event and a citywide commemoration.
