8ª Travessia da Planície 2026

The 8th Travessia da Planície is a running and walking event scheduled for October 24, 2026. The event will take place between São Marcos da Ataboeira and Entradas. It includes an 11.24 km race and two walking options: 7 km and 11.24 km. Participation is open to all individuals, whether federated or not. The race features various age categories, while the walk has a single category. The course is point-to-point, beginning at Largo do Poço and concluding at Av. de Nossa Senhora da Esperança. The route will have partial traffic control and will be clearly marked. The event is organized by the Castro Verde Municipal Chamber, with support from local associations and emergency services. It aims to foster a competitive and community-oriented atmosphere, offering prizes for both individual and collective achievements.
