9th Mikkeller World Beer Run 2026

The Mikkeller World Beer Run in Caminha begins and ends in the town’s historic center, with runners starting at 16:00 on a July afternoon. This is a beer-festival race in northern Portugal, organized by Atlântico Clube de Caminha as part of ARTBEERFEST Caminha. Runners can choose between 6 km or 10 km, and the event is open to adults aged 18 to 90, rather than being split into age groups. The 10 km route follows a circuit through the old town, a wooded area, the stadium, and the waterfront by the Minho River estuary. There is a hydration stop at Morber Stadium, and all participants have a 2-hour limit to finish. The field has no stated cap, and prizes are drawn among all participants, fitting the festival atmosphere more than a strict championship format.
