Granfondo Paredes is a road cycling event held in Paredes, Portugal. The start and finish lines are located on Avenida Granja da Fonseca, adjacent to the City Park. Participants can select from three different race formats: Granfondo, Mediofondo, and Minifondo. All groups are scheduled to begin at 09:00 on the morning of the event. The routes are set on paved roads where traffic remains open. Specific details regarding distances, elevation changes, maps, and aid station placements will be provided in the participant guide.
The event welcomes a wide range of participants, from Elite cyclists to age-group competitors and older masters. Separate classifications will be maintained for men and women. Additionally, paracycling categories are available within the Mediofondo for licensed FPC riders who complete their registration ahead of time. Each start box accommodates approximately 300 athletes. Timing is managed via electronic chip, and all riders are required to use the designated front plate and chip. Control points will enforce cut-off times, and any rider exceeding these limits may be directed onto a shorter course. The total number of participants is limited to 1,000. Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category, along with overall male and female Granfondo winner awards.
