Grande Prova de Atletismo de ACARF 2027

The Grande Prova de Atletismo de ACARF is an 8 km road race and walk held in Forjães, a parish of Esposende within Portugal’s Braga district. It is scheduled for late April, marking its return after a fourteen-year hiatus and coinciding with ACARF’s 40th anniversary. The primary running event is the 8 km road race, recognized as the most attended part of the day. The same 8 km distance is available as a walk, catering to both road runners and those seeking a more leisurely pace. The course is presented as a journey through nature, featuring countryside scenery around Forjães instead of an urban setting. This seventeenth edition holds significance as it has been revived by the local ACARF association following an extended break.
