Trail Entre Douro e Tua

Trail Entre Douro e Tua is a trail running event held in Carrazeda de Ansiães, within Portugal's Bragança district, situated between the Douro and Tua river valleys. It features three competitive distances: a 32 km Long Trail, a 21 km Short Trail, and a 13 km Mini Trail, alongside a non-competitive walk. The races are affiliated with ATRP circuits, with the long, short, and mini courses contributing points to different national series. The course crosses several villages in the municipality, utilizing rural tracks, farmland, and mountain paths. Participants will encounter significant elevation changes, with both climbing and descending, as part of a challenging race format that includes strict regulations and required safety gear. Clube Desportivo Entre Douro e Tua is the organizing body, receiving assistance from local municipality and parish councils such as Carrazeda de Ansiães, Castanheiro do Norte, Linhares, and Parambos.
