Tua Festival Percursos Pedestres

The Tua Festival Percursos Pedestres is an annual walking festival in Portugal’s Tua Valley, organized by the Regional Natural Park of Tua Valley and the five municipalities within its territory. It is not a timed race; the focus is on guided walking routes, local landscapes, and stops connecting the walks with village life, food, and regional culture. The festival takes place across the five Tua Valley municipalities, with stages hosted in locations like Alijó and Mirandela. One weekend in S. Mamede de Ribatua features the opening of a new walking route with boardwalks along the S. Mamede stream. Entries may be capped, with one stage limited to 250 participants, giving it the feel of a curated outdoor weekend rather than a mass start event.
