Ultra Trilhos Rocha da Pena

Ultra Trilhos Rocha da Pena is a trail running series in Loulé, Portugal, north of Faro, taking place in early August. Participants can select from 16 km, 23.4 km, or 47.8 km distances, offering a short, steep trail race up to a full ultra-distance event. The courses traverse a natural, forested area around Rocha da Pena, featuring significant elevation changes: 780 m of gain on the 16 km route, 1,020 m on the 23.4 km route, and 2,430 m on the 47.8 km route. The longer distances are UTMB Index races, and the event uses the slogan “Tous unis comme un roc !” — “All united like a rock.”
