Fredsloppet Växjö 2026

Fredsloppet Växjö is a volunteer-run race day in Arabyparken in Växjö, held as a local peace fundraiser rather than a standard road race. The programme is designed for families and mixed groups: Mini-Fredsloppet is 200 metres, younger children can run 600 metres, older children have 1.5 km, adults can choose a 5 km run, and there is also a 1.5 km walk. The course stays within the park, making the event more compact and community-based than a city race with long road closures. Proletären FF organises it; all surplus and collected donations go to organisations working against war and oppression, and runners can add an extra contribution when signing up. Groups of at least six get a fee discount even if they choose different distances, and there is a shared Strava club for people who want to train together beforehand.
