Hallarydsloppet 2027

Hallarydsloppet begins annually at Hallaryds skola on Easter Monday, offering races from a short children's loop to a 21 km main event. This local running competition, situated in the border region between Skåne and Småland, caters to a broad age range, not exclusively to competitive runners. The youngest participants tackle a 1.2 km circuit, with other distances available including 3.2 km, 6 km, and 9.8 km. Some of these routes are also suitable for walkers. The routes primarily consist of gravel roads and some asphalt sections, winding past stone walls, fields, and woods near Hallaryd. The 3.2 km woodland path provides a manageable choice for older children and walkers, while the 21 km race is the longest distance offered. Participants receive timing, aid stations, published results, awards for top finishers, and a medal for all who complete their chosen distance. Hallaryds IF is the organizing body, and the event typically attracts several hundred finishers, regardless of weather conditions on Easter Monday.
