Marathon de Båstad is a road race held in Båstad, Sweden, located on the Bjäre Peninsula in Skåne County. It typically takes place in early summer, either after Midsummer or in early July. The primary event is a full marathon of 42.195 km, starting and finishing at Båstad's harbor. Shorter race options include a half marathon, a 10.5 km race, a relay, and a children's race.
The marathon course is a single loop around the entire Bjäre Peninsula, passing through locations like Sinarp, Bjäre Golf Club, Grevie, Rammsjö, Torekov, Hallavara, Kattvik, Norrvikens trädgårdar, and the beach promenade before returning to Båstad. The half marathon begins in Torekov. The relay can be divided among 2 to 14 participants, with changeovers at designated water stations. Joy Runners Löparklubb organizes the event, which has been held annually since 2010, with one virtual edition occurring during the Covid pandemic.
