Umeå Triathlon

Umeå Triathlon begins next to Nydalasjön, a lake recreation area on Umeå's outskirts, conveniently located for race access. It features Olympic and Sprint distances, available for individual participation or as relays. This allows for both solo triathletes and teams dividing the swim, bike, and run segments. The swim starts in Nydalasjön, followed by a brief run to transition. The cycling course proceeds through Täfteå towards the coast, crossing farmland before returning. Olympic participants travel to Rovögern, while Sprint competitors turn back sooner. The venue is adjacent to pedestrian and running paths, with a nearby playground suitable for families attending the event.
