Detský charitatívny prekážkový beh

The Detský charitatívny prekážkový beh is a children’s charity obstacle race held at the local sports area in Teplička nad Váhom each September. The race is simple and short: one 400-meter children’s track on meadow grass, with no elevation gain and a capacity of 90 participants. Registration occurs in the morning before a 10:00 start, with the results ceremony following shortly after. Entry fees and voluntary donations support sick children. The course utilizes the sports ground and includes 3 to 4 obstacles, making it a playful kids’ challenge rather than a demanding endurance race. Each registered child receives a starter pack, chip bib, finisher medal, fruit, drink support, and an energy bar. The top three finishers are awarded medals, diplomas, and sponsor prizes. Children from Teplička nad Váhom are also ranked in a local category. Family activities accompany the race, featuring a police intervention demonstration, a fire truck demonstration, and inflatable castles.
