About this race
The Forbaský beh pomoci is a charity run held in the Ščava area of Forbasy, located in Slovakia’s Stará Ľubovňa district. The run begins in the late afternoon at 16:00.
Runners have options of 10 km, 5 km, or 1 km distances, making the event suitable for adults, casual participants, and children, not exclusively trained distance runners. The course follows dirt roads and asphalt paths around Ščava. Participation is by voluntary entry fee, with all proceeds directed annually to children facing serious medical diagnoses. To date, across its editions, the run has accumulated €40,033.65. Mladí z Forbas organizes the event, and Valer Kuffa manages participant details. This, the sixth edition, maintains the straightforward approach: run, contribute as you are able, and direct the funds to families dealing with severe illnesses.
