About this race
The Škoda Horal MTB Marathon is an offroad mountain bike marathon in Svit, Slovakia, held in August and organized by SK Horal. It is part of the Skoda Bike Open Tour series, offering riders various distances from the 17 km Dejzi route to the 116 km Krejzi route, which includes 4,000 meters of climbing.
The course options provide a full mountain bike day rather than a single-race format: Krejzi is the most challenging, Lejzi is 75 km with 2,100 meters of climbing, Senzi is 62 km, and the shorter Ízi, Dejzi, and Gravel routes are available for less extreme riders. Horal has been held for over twenty editions. Its history includes hosting a women’s MTB Marathon European Championship podium with Christina Kollmann taking first place, Claudia Galicia Cotrina second, and Angelika Tazreiter third.
