Half Marathon races near Brook Park

The Chippewa Creek Challenge is an autumn trail half marathon held in Brecksville Reservation, a part of Cleveland Metroparks in Ohio. Previous events featured Darla’s vegan chili, prepared with sweet potato, quinoa, black beans, kidney beans, onion, garlic, tomato sauce, and garlic-and-herb pasta sauce.

Turkey Trails Cleveland is an annual Thanksgiving-themed running event offering a half marathon, 10K, 5K, untimed 1 mile, and a kid's dash. The main races feature chip timing, live results, and awards, while the shorter family options are less competitive. Registration for the half marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1 mile includes a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. This event is designed as a family holiday run rather than a competition exclusively for serious runners. Aid stations are positioned every 3 miles for half marathon, 20-mile, and marathon participants. The event, designed by runners, benefits Greater Cleveland nonprofits. Each runner selects a 501(c)(3) charity during registration.
