Races that repeat — weekly, monthly or yearly
Pink Run
Pink Run is a yearly 5K held at the Village of Baytowne Wharf in Northwest Florida. It is hosted by Fore Her and presented by Emerald Coast Hospice. Participants are encouraged to wear pink, and the event raises funds for breast cancer patients needing financial assistance during treatment.
Participants can run or walk the 5K, or join the Breast Cancer Survivors' Stroll. The event emphasizes local support alongside the race. Sponsorships help fund assistance for local women undergoing treatment. A post-race party follows the finish, featuring music, food, prizes, and a photo booth.
Spooky Sprint- Oklahoma City
Sgt. Bobby Swartz Memorial 5k
The Sgt. Bobby Swartz Memorial 5K is a 5k run/walk held at Spring Creek Trail in Edmond, Oklahoma, beginning at 9:00 AM. This race honors Sgt. Bobby Swartz, a veteran of the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office who served approximately 25 years before his death in the line of duty while serving an eviction notice.
The event provides support for families of fallen first responders and law enforcement families via the 106 Memorial Foundation. This foundation was established to carry on Swartz’s service mission. Departments and agencies can compete for an Agency Award, presented to the group with the most registrants. The participants include runners, walkers, families, and first-responder teams.
Run for Your Life: 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Run & Trick or Treat Trot
Run for Your Life, a Halloween-themed race, takes place at the Ruby Grant trails in Norman. The event offers a 5K, a 1-mile fun run or walk, and a youth Trick or Treat Trot, all hosted by Norman Parks & Rec. This annual fall event is designed for families, runners, walkers, and children, with costumes encouraged from the beginning.
The course follows the Ruby Grant trail system, featuring spooky elements and Halloween surprises. Following the race, attendees can enjoy costume awards, DJ music, games, and refreshments at the finish line. Details regarding the charity partner will be provided by the organizers.
Day of the Dead Half Marathon - Oklahoma City
The Day of the Dead Half Marathon in Oklahoma City is a fall race themed around Día de los Muertos. The main 13.1-mile half marathon begins in the morning from the Wheeler Park area. The race weekend also includes a quarter marathon, 5K, 1-mile run, Kids Dash, a volunteer-then-run option, and a virtual run, accommodating runners seeking a specific time, families, and those desiring a festive run.
The route follows parks and greenbelt trails, featuring paved paths, crushed granite, and some light dirt sections. Aid stations are positioned along the course. The event embraces its theme with a pre-race costume contest, music, post-race refreshments, finisher medals, soft shirts, and Bigfoot trophies awarded to top finishers.
Turkey Shuffle - Oklahoma City
The Turkey Shuffle is a November running event in Oklahoma City, held at Stars & Stripes Park. Participants can select a 1-mile run, a 5K, or a 10K. Children 10 and under have a dedicated Kids Dash of approximately 50 meters.
The course winds through local parks and greenbelts, offering a fall landscape with autumn colors instead of a city-street setting. It accommodates various participants, including short-distance walkers and runners, 5K and 10K participants, and families with young children. DJ Sasquatch will provide music on race day. The event is also part of a Run Streak Bundle, which offers a discount for registering for multiple races in different cities.
2026 Prairie Line
At Prairie on Fire, runners start from the White River Campground pavilion at 8:00 a.m. and have one hour to complete a 4.167-mile loop before starting the next. The race takes place in Cicero, Indiana, following the backyard ultra format: one loop each hour until a single runner remains. The organizer states it is Central Indiana's only official Backyard Ultra.
The course alternates between a day loop and a night loop, both beginning at the same pavilion. The day route crosses the White River via a historic fixed truss bridge, then proceeds through Koteewi Park on maintained, mostly crushed gravel trails. Past results show a wide range, from participants finishing after one loop to the winner completing 30, indicating the field can include both novice distance runners and seasoned ultrarunners.
Saints Santa Run
The Saints Santa Run brings runners, walkers, children, costumes, and pets to the SSM Health St. Anthony campus in Midtown Oklahoma City during the December holiday season. Participants can choose a 5K Run/Walk, a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk for a shorter distance, or a free 50-yard Kids’ Dash for young children. SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital presents this event, which is part of Downtown in December and supports the Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership.
The route begins and ends near the hospital’s east parking lot, keeping the event focused on the Midtown campus. Registered runners receive a Saints Santa Run shirt and finisher medal. The event also features a custom playlist, a costume contest with prizes, and a finish-line gathering. Families can enjoy face painting, balloon art, holiday music, snacks, and a pre-race warm-up with the OKC Ballet. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Ugly Sweater Green & Grinchy 5k & Merry Mile
Trail To Recovery 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk
The fourth annual Trail To Recovery is a trail run through a community park. The course is mostly flat with slight hills, featuring grass, sidewalk, and gravel surfaces. It has been used for local high school cross country races. Participation supports the recovery community, Cleveland County recovery court programs, and local substance abuse and mental health services. A custom t-shirt and finisher medal are included.
