Marathon races near Mattydale

Syrathon is a year-round road race series comprising eight established races within the City of Syracuse. The Syracuse Parks Conservancy and Syracuse Parks and Recreation jointly organize it, emphasizing encouraging movement through the city over creating a singular, one-day event. The routes utilize Syracuse’s historic park system as their foundation, guiding runners through various city neighborhoods. The series has promoted healthy activity since 2009, catering to both novice runners and seasoned racers. Registered participants may also enter the Syrathon Series Challenge by finishing races within the established schedule.
