10K races near Plum Springs

The Howl-O-Ween Hustle 5K, a dog-friendly Halloween run, takes place at Las Colonias in Grand Junction. It features a 5K race and a 1 Mile Fun Run. Both events begin and end at WestCo Brewing. Check-in occurs before the early-afternoon races, followed by an after-party at the brewery. Participants are welcome to bring their dogs and enter a costume contest. The race includes chip timing. Registration provides a t-shirt and a doggie bandana. Adults 21 and older receive a beer ticket. Participants also get 50% off adoption fees at Roice-Hurst Humane Society. The race supports Roice-Hurst, and one past edition raised $3,000 for the shelter. The Grand Junction Sports Commission organizes the event, presented by St. Mary's Regional Hospital.
