About this race
The HARRA Warm-Up Series Bundles are a group of marathon and half-marathon preparation races in Houston, organized by the Houston Area Road Runners Association. This bundle allows runners to register for multiple local races simultaneously at a set discounted price for early registration. The series has been held annually since 1986, and its participating race organizers donate a portion of their proceeds to local charities.
The marathon progression within the series starts at 10 miles, advancing to a half marathon, then 25K, and finally 30K. These races are scheduled approximately one month apart, serving as training stages leading up to the Chevron Houston Marathon. The half-marathon track progresses from 5K to 10K to 10 miles, concluding with a 10K that can serve as a race-pace simulation before the Aramco Half Marathon. Early funds from the series contributed to installing trail lights in Memorial Park, adding a tangible piece of Houston running history to the event beyond its race schedule.
