2026 Shoreline Turkey Trot 5K

The Shoreline Turkey Trot 5K is a Thanksgiving morning race in West Haven, Connecticut. It begins at 8 a.m. from the Savin Rock Conference Center on Rock Street. Organized by Shoreline Sharks, this 5K is for runners aiming to race before their holiday meal, not to spend the entire morning at an event. The course is flat, following the Savin Rock Boardwalk along the beach, with minimal climbing. The race proceeds regardless of weather. Registered runners receive a shirt. The event also supports a food drive for W.H.E.A.T., a local pantry that serves low-income residents, including seniors, veterans, children, and many households in the area.
