22nd Annual LARS Race Against Hunger & Homelessness (The Turkey Trot) 2026

The LARS Race Against Hunger & Homelessness is a Thanksgiving morning turkey trot in Laurel, Maryland, held at Alice B. McCullough Field. It includes a 5K run, a 1-mile walk, a virtual option, and a donor option, allowing participants to race, walk with family, or support the cause from off the course. The event has been a Thanksgiving morning fixture since 2004, attracting runners and walkers of all ages from South Central Maryland and beyond. Proceeds benefit Laurel Advocacy & Referral Services, Inc., funding local efforts addressing hunger, homelessness, stability, and self-sufficiency.
