Naples Gobble Gobble is a Thanksgiving morning run and walk held at The Village Shops in Naples, Florida. The main event offers a four-mile walk/run with a competitive chip-timed option, a noncompetitive four-mile fun run/walk, a one-mile fun walk/run, and a Lil’ Gobbler’s dash for children six and under. It is designed for families and racers alike, encouraging Thanksgiving-themed attire and using staggered early-morning starts before the holiday begins. Both routes begin and end at The Village Shops, with the one-mile and four-mile paths extending north and south from the shopping area. The event is cup-free, promoting a more environmentally friendly setup than typical road races. Proceeds benefit St. Matthew’s House, which has assisted individuals experiencing homelessness and hunger in Collier County since 1987, and Kids on the Go, a program that combats childhood obesity by having children complete 26.2 miles over 12 weeks. Parking is integrated into the race logistics: offsite lots at Northern Trust and the Trianon Center are recommended, with shuttles transporting participants to the start, and onsite VIP parking reserved for vehicles with four or more occupants.
