About this race

28th Annual Firecracker 5k: a fast, mostly flat, asphalt course with a couple of moderate hills. A ".5 Mile Fun Run" for kids 10 and under includes a finisher award. 5k record-breakers receive a prize. Held rain or shine, proceeds benefit the Hamilton County Cross Country Team.
