45th Annual Gary Brown Memorial C&O Canal Five Mile Run

The 45th Annual Gary Brown Memorial C&O Canal Five Mile Run honors Gary Brown, a star runner and coach who built one of the nation’s top distance programs. His Handley High School team was ranked number one in the United States. His runners used this event as an 'End-of-Summer-Training Fitness Test,' competing against collegiate and post-collegiate standouts on a course with a deep history.
