4th of July Shoe House Shuffle 2026

The 4th of July Shoe House Shuffle is a five-mile road race in York, Pennsylvania. It begins and ends at the WellSpan Learning Center on Williams Road. The race starts at 8:00 a.m. on the Fourth of July, with timing provided by Black Cat Timing. The York Road Runners Club organizes the event, promoting running, racing, and healthy living in York County. The course follows local roads, with a notable turn around the Shoe House near the halfway mark. Runners may register on race morning until the final pre-start cutoff. Bibs must be visible throughout the race. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in age groups ranging from children to 70-plus. A shirt is available for pre-registered participants. Kona Ice of York will offer a cold post-race refreshment for runners and volunteers; spectators can purchase ices as well.
