5th Annual Scranton 4 Ukraine 5K

The Scranton 4 Ukraine 5K is a modest run and walk held in Scranton, Pennsylvania, taking place on the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail, beginning near Olive Street. The primary event is a 5K run. A 1-mile walk starts at the same time in the morning, accommodating runners and those who prefer a shorter walk. The course follows the river trail, avoiding city streets for a straightforward and easily navigable path. The Scranton 4 Ukraine Association, a Pennsylvania 501(c)(3) nonprofit established to increase awareness and collect funds for Ukrainian refugees, organizes the race. Participants who pre-register have the option to include a dri-fit race shirt. Memorial donations in honor of Evelyn Gibbons are also directed to Scranton 4 Ukraine.
